I am a photography student based in Warrington, Cheshire. My work is primarily fashion photography however I also have a passion for taking landscape and fine art photographs. In this blog I have chosen a number of images from two of my most successful photo-shoots, one being a college fashion brief and the other being an out of college brief for a client wanting to show their new range of clothing. The first set of images, with the female model, are part of the college brief where I decided to show my creative side by using lighting and camera angle to get a number of impacting and professional looking photographs.
The second set of images, with the male model, was for a client who approached me wanting some images for the business's website to promote their new fashion brands clothing range. I tried to use mirrors to reflect the image of the model with the clothing on to give an interesting affect which is quite unique to my style. The model that I used for this shoot was a celebrity and part time model which really helped me when choosing the poses for the model.
There are also a handful of images at the bottom of the blog which show some of my landscape and fine art photographs, some of which have been used on another web page for another client who wanted some images for a metal work company. With any images that I create, I try to put something different into them by using unconventional props or angles.
I am interested in the BA (Hons) in Photography course at University because I want to further gain knowledge and skills in photography, identifying my weaknesses and turning them into strengths as well as having more responsibility to produce successful photo-shoots. My drive in this subject will ensure that I will do well throughout the whole course.
